Threat Campaign 2008: Final Report (PDF | 2.3 MB)
Wildlife Forever.
Wildlife Forever's Threat Campaign is a national, multi-media educational outreach effort targeted to hunters and anglers in the battle against invasive species. This past year the Threat Campaign reached 875 people per dollar invested. The campaign has successfully reached a targeted audience of over 400 million Americans in the past three years! Invasive Animals Cooperative Research Centre, Canberra (Australia).
This report attempts to quantify the impact of invasive animals on biodiversity and shows that they are a major cause of biodiversity decline in New South Wales, Australia. It illustrates the problem's scale in terms of the number and range of native species at risk. This report provides a long-overdue baseline on invasive animals that can be used to make informed management and policy decisions into the future.
