Bighead Carp Caught in East Okoboji Lake Tuesday (Aug 10, 2011) Bighead carp, has found its way into the Iowa Great Lakes. Two of them were collected during the annual fish sampling effort. Bighead carp were found in the Little Sioux River below the Linn Grove Dam in 1996, and the recent samples collected was the first time bighead carp had been found above that barrier.
