Forest Service Hosting Open House on Invasive Species Suppression (Jul 17, 2009)

The Daniel Boone National Forest is hosting an open house on Jul 28 from 2-6 pm for two separate project proposals regarding invasive species suppression and control.

Forest Service Seeks Public Input on Invasive Plants Treatment (Jul 14, 2009)
The Daniel Boone National Forest is seeing public input on the Forestwide Non-native Invasive Plant Species Treatment project that proposes to treat or eradicate non-native invasive plant species on national forest system lands.
Comments due by Aug 14, 2009.

Forest Service Seeks Public Input on Invasive Insect Suppression Efforts (Jun 29, 2009)
Forest Service officials are seeking public comments regarding management proposals to control the hemlock woolly adelgid. Project information is available at Suppression of Hemlock Woolly Adelgid.
Comments due by Jul 27, 2009; Comments will be taken at the meeting on Jul 28.
