Salazar Announces $144,000 for Habitat
Improvement On Private Lands in Indiana (May
22, 2009) DOI.
Fish and Wildlife Service.
The funding will support voluntary habitat
improvement projects completed through the
U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service's Partners
for Fish and Wildlife program in partnership
with private landowners. In Indiana,
the program supports restoration of wetlands,
native prairies, and riparian zones for migratory
bird and endangered species habitat. It also
focuses resources on control of invasive species
in native habitats.
