EPA's Office of Pesticide Programs in coordination
with the EPA Regional Offices, is soliciting proposals to further
the pesticide risk reduction goals of the Pesticide Environmental
Stewardship Program. Proposed projects must address implementation
of integrated pest management approaches that reduce the risks associated
with pesticide use in an agricultural or nonagricultural setting
and demonstrate the importance and relevancy of the project to the
goals of PESP.
Closing date for applications is Jun 12, 2009.

The purpose of the Expert Integrated Pest Management
Decision Support System program
is to support development of expert systems that help guide, demonstrate
and multiply impacts of USDA supported IPM programs. The EIPMDSS
created and maintained by the successful applicant will help these
programs establish and communicate IPM research, education, and extension
priorities; allow a diverse group of stakeholders to obtain access
to selected program outputs; compile LOGIC model based program reports;
and synthesize program impacts.

Tribal Pesticide

The Tribal
pesticide Program Council is
a forum for tribal pesticide and environmental
officials to raise pesticide program implementation issues to EPA,
offer input on national pesticide policy that affects tribes, offer
a network for tribal pesticide officials to share information, and
promote and enhance tribal pesticide program development.

Vegetable/Strawberry
IPM Travel Grant Program
Northeast Vegetable IPM Working Group.
The Northeast Vegetable
IPM Working Group, funded by the Northeastern IPM
Center, offers an IPM Travel Grant that will pay
up to $800 for qualified expenses to help agricultural professionals
in the Northeast learn about and share integrated pest management practices
in vegetables and strawberries.
Applications are being accepted and reviewed on a
rolling basis. Travel must be completed before Mar
10, 2010.
