Conservation. With the recent discovery of the fish disease
Viral Hemorrhagic Septicemia in New
York, and an invasive species of algae, didymo,
in the Delaware River system and the Batten
Kill, anglers are reminded of the important
role that they play in preventing the spread
of these and other potentially damaging invasive
species and fish diseases.
