has developed the Georgia
Invasive Species Strategy Final Draft (Jan
16, 2009; PDF | 1.8 MB) to describe
the scope of the state's invasive species
problem and propose actions to minimize negative
impacts. A
draft plan that targets more than 180 invasive
species threatening Georgia's rich variety
of native wildlife is available for public
comment. The deadline to submit comments
is Feb 16, 2009.
