The Quagga mussel is a tiny freshwater mollusk and a close relative to the Zebra mussel which has plagued the Great Lakes for over a decade. Quagga mussels have now been resported at Lake Mead, Lake Mohave and Lake Havasu, along with various other parts of the southern Colorado river.
